June 8, 2002As I mentioned, we has a very Scottish wedding, complete with "the mists" and a piper. To reach Dunnottar, you have to climb down a rather long set of stone steps and back up another set to enter the castle. The difficulty of reaching the place is one of the things that made it such a great stronghold. If you want to be married there, keep this in mind and give your guests a fair warning about sensible shoes!
